OPERAE – Gianni Lucchesi
GIANNI LUCCHESI - OPERAE
The needs of the artist Gianni Lucchesi meet the dexterity and experience of Giannoni&Santoni. The material perfectly combined the conceptual complexity of "OPERAE" with the simplicity of concrete. OPERAE is strongly characterized by geometric and mathematical elements. The golden Fibonacci sequence marks the rotation of the cubes that support the man in a contemplative attitude. In fact, the cubes undergo a slight rotation near the sequence 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, whose sum is 12, which is also the height of the tower. The golden signs that scratch the concrete surfaces are the growing upward overlap of a Bruno seal, "SIGNS" obtained thanks to the bas-relief between gold and concrete, two materials with diametrically opposite but united, ecstatically winning functions. The installation, 13 meters high, consists of 12 concrete cubes that give life to a tower, at the top of which is the life-size sculpture of a man seated with his gaze towards the horizon.
